In this episode, I speak with celebrity trainer Vinnie Tortorich! Vinnie is the guy behind the NSNG diet so we dove into how that started. We talked about his beginnings and how he had to bootstrap and hustle his way up to make a name for himself. He dove into some of his experiences in working with celebrity trainers what he has learned in that process. We dive into the debate between steroids vs staying natural. In this episode I had the pleasure of speaking with Ross Taylor, founder of the F-Bomb macadamia nut butters! Ross was a huge help to me in the beginning of Keto Brick and I've learned so much from him from a business perspective. We dove into the details behind starting the F-Bomb business. We went into the weeds about the legal implications, trademarks, LLC's, certifications, and all of the regulations. We compared the advantages/disadvantages of producing a product in house vs outsourcing it. We talked about some of the business pitfalls and lessons learned. He talked about what is actually in our water supply...you don't want to know! We covered the compounding dangers associated with artificial estrogens. He talked about why many of us are so low in testosterone. He dives into the types of fat that we should avoid and why. We also go deep into how many of the household products you likely use every day are negatively impacting your hormones. He covers the dangers associated with using birth control. In this episode, I had repeat guest Ben Davis talk to us about his ultra marathon experience. Ben set out to run one ultra-marathon a month in 2018. I wanted to get him back on the show to describe what that was like and dive into the technique behind ultra-endurance running. We also dove deep into the mindset and how to improve your perspective in life. We talked about injury prevention and how he is using yoga to improve his mobility and alignment. Ben is an awesome guy who is doing awesome things to improve the wellbeing of veterans. I'm excited to see the impact he continues to make!
